The Recovery Academy was our answer! Our family member was struggling with addiction and mental health issues. He was finally ready for help and was willing to accept the treatment plan at RA. I can’t begin to tell you how well this program worked for our family member! From the moment we met with Aaron, we felt that it was the right place for treatment and recovery. Everything was individualized for each young man. The entire team at RA is amazing! The therapists are so caring and helpful, and we enjoyed our family sessions each week and learned so much from them as well. Aaron was only a phone call or a text away at all times. RA does not put a time line for recovery as many places do. We all progress at different rates which is evident at RA. Consider giving this program a chance! You won’t be sorry. It has changed our lives. Our family member stayed at RA almost a year. He was able to complete his last 3 classes for a Finance degree and also completed an internship in Saint Paul. The team was so supportive and helpful with this endeavor as well. While we hope our family member is never in need of these services again, it’s nice to know that we have a team of people at RA that would be willing to help us again. Thank you, A, S, J and P!! We are thankful for all of you each day. Thanks also to D for sending us to you.

Recovery Academy was so helpful with helping a family member on their journey towards a sober life. They have so many options for treatment tailored to each individual client. They can be a great option for transitional or long term care. They are extremely professional, and have helped our family immensely.

I had a great experience at Recovery Academy. What i like about RA is that it is not your traditional 30 day treatment. I love that its a step down program. Meaning once i got a few months sober i moved to a less structured house to try to see if i was solid enough in my recovery to succeed in the real world=getting a job, meating new sober friends in meatings, just doing things a little more indipendantly, while at the same time still having that support system to lean on if things started to get hard. I have been to countless treatments all over the country. It has taken me years to gain some long term sobriety and i couldnt have done it without this program. The support staff here are dedicated, kind hearted, and were able to relate to my struggles which really just made me feel welcome and understood. Recovery academies counslers, support staff, and even fellow clients truly helped me gain the strength and confidence in myself to focus on battling against my struggles with mental illness, addiction, and the shame and guilt that comes with it.
